I have never done a garden before, so I'm starting off small. I planted cucumbers, lettuce, beans, pumpkins, strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, and carrots. It's only been a week since I planted my garden and I already have a few more rows of plants! Hopefully this will be a success and not a waste of money. Wish me luck!

Waiting for Daddy

Ben likes to look out the window when we're waiting for daddy to come home. The big kids came running in to be in the picture when they saw me take out the camera.

Ben knows his body parts

I can never get him to do this for people on demand, so I caught it on video tape! This is my 19 month old. He's been doing this for a couple months now. I asked him where his cheeks were, and he thought I said teeth because that's what he pointed to. And yes he is sitting on the back of our couch. He's a dare devil.

And might I add that it is taking quite a long time to post this video!

One more Six Flags!!

Katelyn, Alex and Lily looking at
the walrus. No they didn't pee their pants.
They sat on rides that the rain had made wet!

Grandpa and Lily looking at something

We rode the carousel to get shelter from the rain.

Sam using his map as a shield from the rain!

Yes, they are petting a donkey. Katelyn, Alex
Sam, and Steve and grandma in the background.

My sister's husband flew in and we took all the kids and we convinced grandma and grandpa to buy season passes! (Yeah! now they can come with us!!) Unfortunately it was raining! It was okay at first because it would sprinkle and then stop. But after we had been there only a couple hours it started to pour and never stopped! So, we were drenched! That didn't stop us though! We stayed until almost closing! Grandma took two sleeping kids inside where they had some chairs while we took the big kids to ride some rides! Thanks grandma!!

Alex, Joel and Katelyn in the tent! Kathy and Joel

Grandpa Clift and Ben being silly
Sam and Lily being silly!
My sister and her kids came to visit and we all went camping with my parents. We just drove to the nearest camp site at Lake Solano, nothing fancy, but pretty decent. It was fun to make a campfire and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. My sister, my mom, baby Ben, Lily and I chickened out and went home to sleep. But the men and other kids stayed the night and enjoyed a hike and more campfire, and of course running around and enjoying nature. Now if only it didn't take me forever to wash all of our stuff when we get home I might actually go camping more!

Six Flags

We splurged and got season passes to Six Flags this year and it is a blast! Benjamin goes on all the kid rides and loves them, he even went on a mini roller coaster, I don't think he really liked it though. Alex and Katelyn go on all the BIG rides that they are tall enough for! It is so easy to spend all day there! Although I'm a little ticked that you can't bring your own food into the park because they charge you 3 times what they should for their food, and it's pretty gross.
