Helper boy
Benjamin climbed up onto the kitchen sink and asked me to turn on the water. He stood like this washing the sink for about 15 minutes! Then I got him a chair and he stayed there for at least another 20 minutes. This has now become a daily routine. And while there is always water to clean up, it gives me a little breather time to sweep, or put away dishes, or make meals. Thanks baby!

Locks of love!!
i
This morning I cut Katelyn's hair. It was a little shorter than I planned, but we think it turned out really cute. When I dropped her off at school I was happy to see all her friends giving her compliments and fighting over who got to stand next to her. I bet it made her feel like gold, she needed that!
Then I went and got my hair cut. They chopped off over 10 inches (Don't know exactly how much) And they donated my hair to Locks of Love. Well my hair turned out way shorter than the lady said it was. I'll get used to it soon though, especially with all this hot hot weather!

Stupid People
We were woken up this morning at 5:00 by a loud knock on our door. It was the cops telling us someone had taken a bat to our van's window. Whoever did it also managed to do 8 other cars on our street.
We spent over 2 hours vacuuming out our car, the glass spread everywhere! Why do people have to be so stupid?

First Hair cut
after
Before
Before
I was really reluctant to getting my 18 month old a hair cut. Because that meant he would go from a baby to a big boy. But it was starting to look a little out of control, so we took him. And I was really surprised at how much I love it! He is soo cute!
(remember I'm new at this and I couldn't move the pictures in the order I wanted, I'll figure it out soon.)

Easter
We had a wonderful Easter. It started Friday night when Grandpa Clift came over and helped us dye five dozen eggs. On Saturday the easter bunny came and the kids got scooters and a movie, and of course tons of candy.
Then we went to an easter egg hunt and it was really fun to see Benjamin really enjoying and understand the concept of putting eggs in his basket. He also really loved opening the eggs and eating the candy!
Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Clift's house for a ham and mashed potatoes dinner, and of course the kids were spoiled with cute easter pails and candy.
Sunday we headed to Grandpa Mill's house where the easter bunny hid tons of eggs, and the kids were once again spoiled with tons of candy. We enjoyed a delicious ham dinner that I helped make! And I was finally successful in making mashed potatoes.
Now we have tons of candy (which is all on the side of MY bed:)
Here we go.
